Lottery Community Fund
Funding from the Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund, has helped us to fund a whole school & community Thrive approach to support mental health in our families and community through training our Senior Leaders. Our teams have been able to provide individual support to families in need, offering advice through virtual meetings and weekly phone calls.
Richmond Hill Primary Academy are celebrating
the award of £5,000 of Community funding
We are delighted to announce the completion of our new sensory garden. Our very own community space for sharing, relaxing and enjoying nature, promoting a sense of health and well being for all.
Our garden offers:
* A gentle wildlife area with fragrant flowers and herbs to encourage natural habitats for butterflies, bees and other minibeasts.
* Seating in shaded areas provides a calming space for reading, creative activities and sensory experiences.
* Opportunities for our visitors to engage in gardening activities, either as part of the school curriculum or community engagement, shown to promote social relationships, family connection, emotional and mental wellbeing, and improve cognitive and educational outcomes in children.
Thank you Awards for All - Community Fund!
Thanks to the Government for making this possible
